Tree walks are organised to highlight the importance of trees, the most dominant natural elements in the environment. Concept of native and alien trees and their relevance in particular environment is emphasized to help them in selection of right plants. Religious, cultural, ecological and medicinal value of trees in the environment is stressed upon for developing a sense of belongingness.
