Third Environment Conservation Fair is being organised on February, 3-4, 2024 at Nehru Rose Garden in collaboration with Municipal Corporation Ludhiana. The fair will have more than 100 stalls displaying various aspects of environment conservation like Tree plantation with special emphasis on indigenous species, water conservation, soil conservation, organic kitchen gardening, waste management & composting, pollution free mobility solutions, air pollution reduction, noise pollution, eco-friendly packaging, energy conservation, solar energy, healthy lifestyle products, healthy food with special emphasis on millets.

About SOCH

Society for Conservation and Healing of Environment (SOCH) is registered non-profit organisation working on conservation of natural resources and reconnecting people to nature. We strive to create awareness about environmental problems by dissemination of scientific knowledge in coordination with various organisations and individuals working on such issues for synergistic efforts towards environmental amelioration.

Environment Conservation Fairs

As a part of our outreach program, we have been organising Environment Conservation Fair for the last two years in which tools and techniques for environment conservation are displayed for generating awareness in the public. First fair was held at Khosa Kotla Village in district Moga in December 2021 and second was held at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana in November 2022. The last fair had a footfall of more than 20000 people from all walks of life and from across the state.

About Rose Garden Ludhiana

Nehru Rose Garden, a beautifully landscaped garden in the heart of Ludhiana, spread over an area 27 acres, is a paradise for morning walkers and joggers and picnicker. The garden is home to a varied variety of plants, particularly roses. The vast lawns with water fountains make a perfect setting for nature lovers to unwind.  The garden is thronged by visitors on weekends.

Highlights for Children:

Painting, Poster making, Science model Competitions; play zone with interactive games.
