Soch and Tree Lover Society (Bathinda) organized an event on October 29 from 7.30 am to 10.30 am in the traditional Jhiri of Village Gobindpura (Bathinda). In this program, enjoyed various natural wonders in the village trees and dunes.

The purpose of this program is to connect the people of Punjab with nature and to make them aware of the traditional trees, dunes, hills, birds and animals of Malwa.

In this 3-hour tour, environments from Ludhiana, Dr. Balwinder Singh Lakhewali and Dr. Brij Mohan Bhardwaj explained the importance of dunes for the Malwa area, the impact of traditional trees on our environment and health, traditional birds and animals and the benefits of keeping ponds in natural form.

In the end, there was a Press Conference held at 11 am, in which information regarding the state level environmental fair was given which will be conducted by Soch in upcoming months.
