Three day Forest Bathing and Nature Awareness camp was organised in Kukanet-Dherian forest from 16 to 18 December 2022. The camp was lead by Mr. Nikhil Sengar, Honorary Wildlife warden, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. The camp started with tour of Kukanet stream and Dherian forest where participants were apprised about the ecosystem of Shiwalik foot hills and its importance in wildlife of Punjab. Forest bathing was organised on second day in which participants trked through the Forest around Kukanet and saw native forest trees and plants of Shiwaliks and basic forest survival techniques were demonstrated. Leopard pug marks were seen during forest walk on third day of the camp.
